Remember some of these staples of school life as a kid?
Now imagine only being able to see all that from the outside.
That was little Rosie’s life no more than a month ago. She could only put pictures to the stories she heard from her friends about school.
Her parents couldn’t afford to take her to school. So, she could only dream of it.
Even though she’d already be 2 years older than her classmates, she was still hopeful that she’d join school soon.
You can imagine how happy she was when she was finally able to join kindergarten this year, all thanks to the kindness of our supporters.
Going to school is a given to most kids, but it definitely wasn’t for her.
Rosie before joining school; and Rosie after joining school

Queen’s boarding school supplies
Over the past 1 year, we’ve seen the kindness of people like you touch the lives of children who had begun to lose hope. Their stories continue to unfold, and we can’t wait to see what coming together this year can do to change the lives of many more.
Hi! I’m Angela and I’m a community volunteer passionate about helping children in need. For the last 9 years, I’ve worked both officially and as a volunteer with at-risk kids, from 9-year-olds escaping early marriage, to troubled teens in need of general counseling.
Now I help provide support for the education of kids from extremely poor families; those who, without any help, would have had to drop out of school.
The goal is to help them get the education they’ll need to escape a life of poverty, and eventually help others as well.
